Does the Jupiter-12 (35mm/f2.8) work with the R-D1? Or will the rear-elements of the lens touch the camera?
Check this: http://www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/index-frameset.html?Lens-LSM-Wide.html~mainFrame
Any other Russian 35mm lens which works with the R-D1?
Thanks!

Just do a search and you're most likely to find your question already answered. For J-12 see this thread http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43346
As for the other Russian lenses, one can say all the commonly available Russian LTM lenses work with R-D1 (not sure about Orion-15 and Russar MR-2, but these are collectible rather expensive lenses). Fast lenses (Jupiter-3 and Jupiter-9) are likely to have problems with focus accuracy. If you want to give it a try, then buy Jupiter-8. It is very good lens and it is quite common -- dozens are for sale on ebay. You can get one for some USD 30, which is excellent price for how good the lens is.

if you look for a jupiter, look for something pre-1970's, I have a 1963 industar that is perfect, got it from David Murphy. As far as I've heard the older russian lenses give more acurate focus.

The Jupiter 12 works on the Epson. Vignetting is quite strong, though.

So far as I know, the J-12 is the only 35 mm FSU lens in LTM. Didier has given you a precise answer.

Thanks a lot for your help again. I'll try to get the Jupiter-12 even though the rear element looks frightening..
What about the DDR ZEiss Flektogon 35mm? Is it possible to use it with the R-D1 with an adapter or is it strictly SLR lens?
