Jupiter 3 risen from the dead

I am posting this here because a Leica M2 does not belong in the FSU forum and a Jupiter 3 does not belong in the M Leica forum. Nor is this post technical in nature. Please move if appropriate.

Here are three pictures taken with the J-3 which Kim Coxon fixed for me some months ago. The first was taken at f/1.5 and the other two were taken at f/2. It is possible that focus was not spot on or that there was camera shake or subject movement. The old girl in the first two is 96 and her head is not exactly steady.

Pictures taken at f/4 and f/8 were astonishingly good.

Could have gone in the "optics and lenses" category, maybe?

I have some colour film in my Bessa right now but I've mostly been using the CV 21mm f/4. After looking at these I'm going to have to switch over to the J3 I've been using and shoot wide open. Thanks for posting.
