HI, I love my Jupiter-3 for it´s creamy rendition of OOF and low contrast (gives very nice tones both in colour and b&w)...I bought two wich both had a decentering problem but managed to build one working unit from those two wich focuses right and doesn´t show any decentering.

I find it very sharp too esp. wide open in the center (ok not as sharp as my Nokton but it has a nice 3d effect the nokton lacks imho..thou the latter is more flare prone and contrasty).....after 5.6 it is very sharp overall.

Gabriel, those Jupiter pics from the M8 really rock!!! love the J3-makro shot too 🙂

in my experience, the J-3 is sharper at f2.0 than j-8. And very nice and creamy at 1.5
