Just a little Christmas greeting.

Hi All,

Just thought I would pop in a wish everyone a very merry christmas and hope you all have a GREAT 2006 🙂

I haven´t been on RFF for.....months now come to think of it 😱 Wonder if anybodys still around? Main reason for this is, that several months ago, I was lucky enough to land a full time job as photographer for a firm that specializes in interior/architectural photography. They have kept me busy more or less since then - shooting all day and photoshopping all night. I say lucky as I really do feel lucky, being allowed to shoot all day, everyday and getting paid for it (and not peanuts either may I ad) leaves me with a feeling of being very privileged. Only downside is that I´m working digital, instead of with the good ol´M3

It´s actuallly gotten to the point where I´m contemplating starting up for myself (something I´ve always wanted to do) The firm I work for will gladly give me a sub-contracter contract with more than enough work to keep food on the table, and that would open up for me being able to start accepting some of the asignments ,I´m getting offered on the side (something I can´t do while being employed full time at the firm)

Anybody have an opinion on this ?

Anyways enough of my ranting 😎 I hope you all have a wonderfull 2006, and I hope to be around here a bit more than I have been lately

To anybody dreaming of turning this hobby into a living - keep shooting as much as possible - keep learning and getting better - and keep your eyes open....you´ll get there 😉

oh, btw. while I´m here - anybody have any info as to when (and if) a digital M wil be arriving ? or maybe a digital Ziess ? Just wondering if I could wait and maybe use one of these as my job kit instead of investing in dslr nikon/canon kit..

Wow... been 2 weeks and nobodys got anything to say 😉

...come on guys. I know its along time since I´ve been around but thats no reason to put me on the ignore list 😀 - seem to remember that [suck up mode on] this place was full of great knowledgeable, friendly people, who (in a good way) had an opinion about anything photograhy related. [/suck up mode off]

Anyway hope all are well and noboby´s living out on the streets with signs saying "Please help I have G.A.S."

It's good to see you back here. It was your Olympus kit for sale that first drew me into RFF and I've been happy here ever since.

It has been a very busy time around here. I trust you are up to date on the digital M Leica. I don't expect there will be any word on an Ikon digital for a while. It looks like Zeiss is focusing on there strength, lenses.

Hi Lars, I was at a camera/drinking get together last nite. Someone mentioned that there was to be some "announcement" from Ziess to day or by Friday. Don't know how much to believe but a google could flush something out.
