And it is a joy! I have been looking some time for a medium format camera that could actually be taken along every day. Tried a folder but they are heavy compared to this Fuji and always with a "standard" lens and I prefer a tele. Also no lightmeter and as I use slide film that is a necessity. Same for a TLR or any slr.
So this one ticks all the boxes: easy to use, lightmeter, light, 6x4.5 (I like the format), 2 cheap and easy to find batteries. What could you ask more?

Had one and loved it, just wasn't being used and I needed to sell to raise money for another photo purchase. Enjoy! Easy to zone focus with distance scale on wide lens, and a built in meter. I remember that I bought it because at that time, it was cheaper than a Hasselblad 50 (for my 500cm) and I wanted a wide angle medium format option.
They are a little hard to find, so it's said. Happy with the GS645S, similar camera with RF focusing 60mm f/4, I looked for the GS645W with 45mm and failed to find one. However, partial success with a GA645W! These GS cameras are light, compact, easy to carry. Have fun!
But be careful, avoid impacts. My used GS had to have plastic lens mount parts replaced due to impact even protected by its "cow catcher".

So many great Medium Format Fuji options. I definitely would like a wide version, but my 690III and RF645 is good enough for now.

GS645s is what I have now and a Mamiya 6 with the 75mm lens. I did own the GS645w but stupidly sold it. They are plentiful in Japan and takes about a week to have one here in the states. Might have to add it to my 120 kit--again.

I have the GS645S and enjoy it but the rangefinder does not move at all when focusing it so I'm either guessing the distance or just shooting in infinity as I do a lot of landscapes. Other then that really love it.
There's a cam that moves the RF mirror one direction when focusing, then a spring is supposed to return it as the focusing goes the other way. Mine was sticky, took a little bumping to get it to return. This was cleaned and lubed by Camera Wiz while in for other work, and it's been smooth as can be since then. Sam, I'll bet yours will clear up with some TLC...
