A big hello to everyone. I have only recently discovered this forum but it all seems to be very vibrant with a host of knowledgeable people posting. I have owned my Yashica GSN for about 4 years now and have to admit I don't give it that much use, but probably will from now on. I purchased it on ebay complete with the case, the two supplementary lenses, lens hood, tripod and a couple of filters for the princely sum of £50. It gives superb results, and it is great for use around town as here in Lincoln we get quite a number of buskers at the weekends. Very pleased with the results I get. The trouble is, the RF bug gets you and I have been eyeing up Canon QL's and Zorki 4k's just lately. Must resist the urge!!

Welcome, and that feeling you have about other gear is call GAS. It is contagous and can be expensive. There are a bunch with the GSN so they can share their experience. I had one but sold it when I bought a Vivitar 35 es, a bit smaller.

Welcome! Just open your wallet a prepare to let the money fly out when you catch G.A.S. it sad how fast you become poor.. struggleing to get every camera fix, film, lenes ,developers, wrist strap, neck straps, and the UHHHH I need one of those...

Hi my name is Skinny and I have a problem..

Thanks for the comments. I am managing to resist at the moment but xmas is coming so I may drop some large hints to the family on possible pressies! My kids also have the photo bug, the nicked my Pentax MZ-M and associated lenses! But I didn't mind as it was too much automation for me so I got myself a nice Praktica MTL-50 and 3 lenses. Much more fun! They have just picked up a Lubitel 2 which turns in suprisingly good photos. They're happy with the results and more than a little suprised I think that they were so good. So I think all 3 of us will be requesting film, lenses or whatever from Santa this year!

welcome aboard, the good thing about gettng the rangefinder bug is that you can also sell them after you use them for a while and try something else. Cameras fly around here like nobody's business. Have fun with it!

Welcome,

I'm new here too.

Seems a very friendly group but be warned, this
infection can be serious. I've already picked up two cameras!
And, they make it so easy with the lovely gear they
offer and the quick, honest transactions.

Enjoy & good luck.
