Since I am in both the film and digital camp, it is hard choice for me.. There were two cameras that came to mind immediately for me..

Film -Bessa II
Digital - x100

In the end I went x100...

Back on page 2 I said that my one camera would be my M6. Well, I now have a nice used M7 and a nice used MP. So, now my M6 is for sale and I am not sure which camera I would keep the M7 or MP. Very tough decision to make at this point. I will just have to see which one is in my hands the most over the summer and maybe I can pick then. For now I just can't seem to put down the MP. I will keep both. Jim

Sorry, I guys, but I have to admit that it would be a fullframe DSLR with a fast allround zoom and three or four fast primes.

I went for the dRF category: I can afford an M9 ........ but I'm my brain screams "bang for buck" and "best value" ....... thats why I stick to the trusty RD1s with 35 Lux v.2.
Plus, nobody is paying me for the pics I take!
If that were the case, I'd have to compromise with a 5d MkII and 24-120 zoom.

For flexibility, durability, dependability, and since I prefer manual/mechanical cameras to automatic/electronic cameras, I would keep my Nikon F2 with all its lenses, viewfinders, view screens, and other system accessories.

If I could select from any camera I have ever owned, it would be the Nikon F2 titanium.

This really is a tough one. All my best photos for the type of stuff I shoot are taken with a 4x5 and I simply adore the process of 4x5 shooting/developing/etc. However I simply couldn't live with one without some sort of very small 35mm to accompany it with.
So I guess a 6x7 MF camera of some sort would be the appropriate middle ground even though it's not ideal. Probably a Mamiya 7ii or a Fuji GF670.

Guys, for those of you missing a TLR option just put it under FILM - MF/AF/RF.

Chris C - I hear you. 4x5" is graet but tough to keep as the only camera. I would go for some sort of medium format too (It would be a touch Rolleiflex -vs- Mamiya 6 decision)
