This is my first legit print sale that's not to a relative, to a friend, and doesn't amount to a gift. It's kind of exciting! Of course, I don't exactly push my photos and don't intend to start the art fair circuit or anything, so this is just a fun event for me. I just thought I'd share!
These are both 11x14 prints matted to 17x20. They're 6x7 negs taken in the Flints Hills of Kansas, developed by me and printed in my darkroom on Fomatone Classic warmtone. Fun!

They look like beautiful prints! Congratulations.
They appear very nicely presented. Congrats! How did the sale come about, and did you frame them to order?

Congrats. I too have recently sold some prints to people I didn't know. It's an awesome feeling for sure. Have you thought about pricing just prints, prints matted, prints matted and framed? I had someone ask me and I was so dumbfounded I didn't know how to respond. Also, different sizes too. I develop and print in my own darkroom too.
Again, congrats!!!!

Congratulations!
I think there is a lot to say about a silverprint and hope your customers appreciate that. Folks likely don't see any wet prints these days.
Hope you aren't selling them too cheaply, or at least the price can increase as you sell more-if that's your plan.

Awesome, you never forget the first sale, even if you go one to sell hundreds more. I still remember my first sale of a fine art print (I'd done weddings and other professional photo work and been paid but selling art is so much harder and makes you feel much better!).
I agree with Doug and the others who have complimented the presentation, it looks magnificent.
