I tested the takumar 35 against zeiss zm 35 and leica 35 cron pre -asph, the takumar was sharper even at f/3.5 to 4. That is just my personal experience with digital. It could be a different story on film.
I have both an om1 and spotmatic sp2 and wouldn't sell either. The Pentax is just nice and robust and I use it one camera one lens style, while the om1 is great for taking a few lenses along. Unless space is a huge issue, you'll burn through the sales revenue in no time and the be short an excellent camera system
Give the Pentax F kit with 5 rolls of film to young person who is interested in film photography... it may be a the beginning of a long love for photography.
If you are not cashed strapped why not keep both?
Just take the battery out of the Spottie, and make a choice of switching cameras once or twice a year.....
from personal experience I know that you'll miss the Spottie a lot
