I've been trying the Kentmere as well. I have one word of warning for those shooting old Barnack's, the film is a bit brittle, and little pieces can break off around the sprockets at the leader, so be careful. I stopped using it in those cameras.

I've been trying the Kentmere as well. I have one word of warning for those shooting old Barnack's, the film is a bit brittle, and little pieces can break off around the sprockets at the leader, so be careful. I stopped using it in those cameras.

Thanks for the warning! Are you using a film cutting guide for the leader like the ABLON, or just trimming by hand? I've not found the film to be brittle, but I also haven't tried it in a Barnack yet. I do have a Leica IIIc that I need to film test, maybe I won't use Kentmere 400.
