Kentmere 400, latest samples

I'll make a modest contribution. My wife, shot on Kentmere 400 with a Nikon F2AS and a Nikkor 85mm 1.4 AI-S. The film was shot at 800 and pushed accordingly. It's lab-processed, which I rarely do, so I don't know the specifics. It seems a bit grainy, my guess for chemicals would be Rodinal...

Nevertheless, I like the results I get from this film.

Very cool effect with the rainbow mist. Those trichromes are fun.

That's a lovely portrait, lukx, well done! I think the grain looks nice, especially pushed to 800, and there's still good sharpness.

As usual, I love the look of this. How do you feel about LegacyPro L110, compared to say, Rodinal? I noticed it can be shipped, I have been wanting to try HC110 but it typically is in-store only due to hazard restrictions.

Thank you, agentlossing, that's very kind. It's been a few years since I've used Rodinal (well, Compard R09), so hard for me to compare. I do like LegacyPro L110 mainly for the convenience. It's an affordable, easy to mix liquid developer that comes in smaller 1-pint bottles. The smaller bottle doesn't take up much space and I don't have to worry too much about developer shelf life. So far, I've been happy with the results.
