Kentmere 400, latest samples

Getting my enlarger set up. I had a couple rolls of Kentmere 400 which I shot years ago, and have been sitting forgotten in my desk drawer. Decided to develop them and put them in the enlarger to get things dialed in. Standard development in D76, printed on Fomatone paper. I was not fastidious so the prints are dirtier than I'd prefer, but I just wanted to ensure the enlarger was working properly. First time using Fomatone paper - not bad stuff.

Mos6502, I guess no issues with the latent image despite sitting forgotten for years?

Somewhat surprised myself. It was not kept refrigerated, just sat in a desk drawer this whole time. No apparent fogging. The images were perhaps thinner than I prefer, but I remember the light was getting pretty dim when the shots were taken, so it may not be the result of age. In any event they were all printed with a 2 1/2 filter, and look fine enough.

I did some checking and found that the images I posted above were taken in 2017 - developed as normal, so I can say the latent images keep very well on this film!
