WJJ3 you seem to have good contrast with that combo. What dilution and agitation do you use? When I use D76 1to1 and agitate 15 seconds every min, I don't get as much contrast as you are getting here.

@skopar steve, I am using 1:1 dilution for 14 minutes with about 10 seconds of agitation every minute.
This scene was pretty high contrast, plus I had a light green (Kenko PO0) filter on the lens. I copy my film frames with a Canon DSLR, and apply slight adjustments with Negative Lab Pro. Here is the negative on my light box for reference.

Here is a sample of Kentmere Pan 400 using RGB color separation. The finished trichrome image on top and the original black and white frames, as shot through the color filters. Tiffen #25 Red, #58 Green, and #47 Blue, respectively, from left to right.

Tried another roll in my M4-2 and Summicron 35mm 2.0. Still not happy with results. This time I used Spur Acurol N 1 to 50 for 11.55 min. It's better than D76, but not contrasty enough for my tastes. It is ok for scanning and post processing, but not printing on a #2 paper.

Another neg from the same roll. This is a straight scan only resized. Dourbalistar, I think your right. This film needs some experimenting with. Shot at 200 asa developed in Spur Acurol N for 11.5 min. Ten agitations every min. Think I'm getting there.
