Hello all,
A good friend, Robby Barthelmess, has recently started a nonprofit which gets film cameras in the hands of children. The children, mainly 5th and 6th graders, participate in miniature after school workshops that teach the fundamentals of photography. I recently watched him scan some shots from a class and was blown away at what their young eyes see. Currently, limited donations keep everything up but the majority of cost is coming out of his pocket. A local film lab, Color Services, has given him 50% off developing but he has had to limit each child to 6 shots because the high cost of film. If you have any unwanted film or easy to use film cameras and would like to help, please visit the website. The kids would greatly appreciate it.
