My beloved Kiev 4 is jammed. Won't fire. Is there anyway I can fix it save throwing down the stairs? I am willing to take it apart. It'll be fun.

If you can't see the shutter's curtain in the frame window, like a "B", you have the broken ties.
Try checking if the release button's red dot is aligned to the one on the loading knob; if not, push-turn the button clockwise, until the dots are aligned again; then, you would be able to load the shutter again.
If the curtains' ties are broken, in my opinion, a Kiev surely deserves to be repaired.

Mine jammed. The shutter button wouldn't go down.
I took the film out and the shutter curtain had disconnected.

The curtain is up but not snapped into place. It's like it's almost loaded, but not quite.
