Kiev 4 Owners - How to mount an ext VF & Meter

I just picked up a Kiev 4 and 4-AM and will probably keep only the one without the meter (4-AM I think is right) I really like the look of the Contax II and Kiev 4 without the built in meter much better.

I am looking for a solution for mounting a small external meter and an external VF (to use a 35mm lens) at the same time.

Anyone else run into this conundrum? Your ideas would be appreciated.

You'd need a double-shoe accessory. Cosina made some recently, but I think they're out of production. Maybe one of the online sites still has some. They came in different heights; I think you'd need a taller one to clear the rewind knob on a Kiev.

I looked around on the web but havent found any yet, I guess I will keep looking... I may have to have something made on a C&C machine.

I did find one from a camera store in Austria but it is going for $98, a bit high for a piece of machined aluminum
