Kiev 4am Lens mount

I cannot mount my Jupiter 12 35mm without it disengaging from the body? Will not stay locked on, even while focusing!! I have set the body mount to infinity..set the lens to infinity..lines up the red dots..seems to snap on, but will not stay in place! Any hints?

Set the infinity mark of the focus ring, towards the red dot and mount the lens.

On the back of the lens is a ring which is held bij a spring. It clicks into the inner bajonet of the camera when it locks. But some of them fit quite heavily.
