I don't shoot either of them a whole lot since my Rolleiflex K4B is my preferred poison, but neither my Arax 60 or my Pentacon Six TL have given me any problems since I had the windon fixed on my Pentacon.

I am pretty careful when I load the film and I don't let the wind on levers slap back because I have been told that the film transport was the weakest part of the cameras.

However, I do love those Zeiss lenses so I will likely hold onto both for awhile. Since I only have about 15 rolls of film through either camera that could obviously change quickly, maybe even the next roll. 😀

The counter on the Pentacon 6 stops counting at 6.

Indeed, the counter (and the star wheel in the film transport system) are weak ARCHAIC designs in the P6. The star wheel (film advance) -punches- slots into the film, and -that- is what provides the film transport, pulling the film through the body. Unique, but hardly confidence inspiring. It sometimes won't punch through really tough films, like some Kodak E6 films, for example. A friend took one to Alaska (an EX66 MK3), and got overlapping frames on every single E6 roll. There are also individuals I know of who have never had problems with their P6's and actually like them.
