Some of you may know of Peter Hennig’s excellent article, “ Kiev Rangefinders by Peter Hennig” on Stephen Gandy’s Camera Quest site. Some of you may also know that Peter’s article has mysteriously gone missing from Camera Quest.
Peter Hennig’s article has resurfaced on the Kiev Survival Site with some new updates to it as new information has come to light. We are very pleased to have Peter’s Kiev Rangefinder article as a welcomed addition to the Kiev Survival Site. You can find this excellent historical account in a new section called Guest Articles. http://www3.telus.net/public/rpnchbck/guest articles.html
This new section is for you out there that have some golden nuggets of information about Kiev’s but have nowhere to have it posted. Sure you can post it here on the RFF but it soon gets lost amidst the many messages and threads.
As it says on the KSS, “Got some interesting information regarding Kiev's, historical or helpful procedures on repairs? Write it up for inclusion on this site, or drop me a line with the images and some text and I'll complete it up. If it's at all interesting and has some usefulness to the community, here's a good place to post it.”
Cheers,
