Killing it on Instagram!

Criticism is inherently different than social media hill climbing. There is an urge to maximize social media capital even if it’s pointless. The likes have nothing to do with value, they are simply a currency and that currency pays only in exposure. It’s addictive, or at least it was for me.

I`m sure you`re correct .
I just don`t think of it in that way .
I`ve been photographing since 1962 so to me these sites are just like a very public photo album .
I do a lot of stuff for friends and obviously I`m pleased that they like what I do but there is little expectation on my part that anyone else might .
I`d hate to have the sort of exposure you`re talking about.
"social media hill climbing " social media capital " …. never heard of those concepts before if I were to be honest .

Perhaps its a generational thing but I`m sure you`re right and thanks for the education 🙂.
