I like the idea of mounting my 17mm Tamron sp lens (with nikon adapter) on the nex5n with a bit of shift available to me ... Ive never been able to justify a wide angle t/s lens so this seems a way to get one (all be it with just shift) for less than £100 ...
Has anyone tried one?
Whats the build quality like?
I cant quite work out if I can rotate can anyone confirm? It does mention rotate, but its not 100% clear hat is meant

Check Zork as well. He does something similar. And it's BEAUTIFULLY made. Dunno about Kipon.

Hi Roger, thanks, but I have no idea what/who Zork is
Can I have some sort of link?

Well-known
I find that in LR4 the vertical control easily manages convergent parallel lines from an unshifted lens as a shift lens would. With the NEX 7 there are enough pixels to not be noticeable at all.
So why the expense and fiddle with a shift lens here, I do not know and do not need or use it any more. My comment refers to shooting RAW of course for best results.

For the satisfaction of doing right!
There is something about using a spirit level to get those verticals vertical that just appeals to me ... different strokes and all that ...
Anyway, first impressions of the mount are fairly positive with a few caveats ...
Mainly in the area of the accessibility of the controls
