I have some great Nikon and Leica cameras and top end point and shoots; it's really making me think which one gets my last roll of K64. Does this mean I have to pick a favourite camera? This might be a useful thought experiment: which of your cameras and which camera that you might not own would you use the LAST roll of film left on earth? I'm leaning towards my MP.

It's an easy choice for me - my M3 is the camera that gives me the most pleasure to use, so that's the one that would get the film.

I have three rolls of Kodachrome left in the freezer. One roll will be used the Saturday after Thanksgiving to document my cousins at our annual gathering. The next roll will be used to document my town. For those two rolls I'm going to use my Nikon F100 because it simply works great with the film.

For the final roll I'm going to use my Retina Ia. It was my fathers. He was born in 1930. It is a way for me to remember him, and send off kodachrome at the same time. As for subject matter, I just don't know yet.

I have a roll loaded in my M3 now and another in my Contax TVS-III. If it were my last roll - probably the M3 with a sharp 50mm.

I thought the same thing about my last roll. It was going to be my M3, but that is going to get a cla soon, so it will most likely be my M6.

If you have one roll who will process it?

There's only one place to send it to, dwaynes. I have one roll left & I might use my AE-1 program, but first it will have to go in for a CLA to rid the squeal & get the mirror back in sync. It's overexposing the film right now.

I shot my only two rolls of Kodachrome ever in my M5. Because of the meter. Used my M-Hex 50/1.2. The setup of M5, Kodachrome and 50/1.2 is a tribute to Tommy Oshimas M5-with-Noctilux Kodachrome shots that got me into RF shooting.

Still have to send them off to Dwaynes. Not to worry Cirque, those files will make it to you! :D

Until the end of 2010? And here I was wondering what to do with 7 rolls until December!

In my case, since I've burned so much Kodachrome with my Leicas, now it's the turn for the Nikon SLRs to get it.

Which camera???

Which camera???

Surely a more pertinent question would be which subject?

Landscape. Green fields, blue sky and fluffy white clouds.:)

I just checked, 4 rolls of K-64, 2 rolls of K-25. I may keep one of each as keepsakes. My Fujica ST 901 may get a couple, and maybe the Yashica FX 103.

Just to see how they handle it, at least one roll will get used in my Kiev with all five lenses I have.

use the camera with the best meter. in a decade, when you look at that last roll worth of kodachromes, you arent going to care what camera you used, you are going to care that they came out right.

Since I am going to be in Parsons Kansas for New Years's Eve, 2010, I will most likely have more than one body loaded. So the question for me would be what camera will take the very last frame?

With a ton of film to shoot and 14 months to go, I can not even begin to think of which camera that might be...

I would use the camera you enjoy shooting with most regardless of what film is in it. A camera you enjoy and feel comfortable with almost certainly give you images you are happy with.
