Kodachrome Rules!

Kodachrome is certainly readily available in the UK but all European processing is in Lausanne. The last roll I used was near expiry date (& cheap!!) so the mailer still had the Deer Park Road Wimbledon address. However the film was forwarded to Lausanne at no extra cost and despite all the information about the 2w turnaround in fact the boxed slides were back within a week, still much as I remember it from before, virtually grainless, even the 200ASA, colour balance just slightly cool on green and brown but with vibrant reds and blues. I always used to use Agfa slide film as I preferred the colour balance for landscape shots but now Agfa's gone it's Fuji or...well, what? Just Kodak

I am happy to see so much interest in Kodachrome -- for a long time I've felt like a lonely soul on a crusade for something really obscure. Could a forum be started for Kodachrome ?
