Just got off the phone with Freestyle. Called about a previous order and remembered that they were supposed to receive a shipment of Kodachrome from Kodak today. The representative said they are supposed to get 1000 rolls of KR64 and 300 rolls of PKR64.
They are taking pre-orders and roughly 700 of KR64 is already spoken for. There was also a brief mention of the potential of future shipments of Kodachrome if Kodak has any more left.
I put in an order for a few rolls. Thought this info might be useful for anyone thinking of picking up some too. They also are not inflating prices, for KR64 each roll costs about $8.09. That's the price I remember but I might be a few cents off. PKR64 comes in around $13.

Just got a call from Freestyle. I am informed that the shipment of Kodachrome from Kodak won't come in until the middle of August at the earliest.
I wonder if Kodak has enough supply to meet the final "surge" in demand.

Yes, I saw that too. I have 6 rolls in transit that I ordered from them a couple days ago. So I am somewhat surprized to see that even as I type...yes, just check it again...they list it as being in stock. Any chance they could not have updated their website?

So to all the people who are obviously going to stash Kodachrome in the freezer for that special occasion, how much of a factor in what you may buy is the future abiity to get it processed.
When are Dwaynes going to pull the pin on processing ... have they given a time frame?

Hmmm ... for an absolute Kodachrome junkie that's a little akin to being given eighteen months to live!
I guess it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all!

B&H are back in stock... more than 800 rolls. Good luck! Every other time I've found it in stock it's lasted just minutes...
