I have been shooting digital most of this year, and even when exclusively film I have hardly used my scanners and put up with the indifferent scans from my film supplier. I made the fatal mistake of opening an old box of slides. Tonight I got out my Coolscan V and scanned a few. I had almost forgotten how to do it, but there was a new version of VueScan and I sort of worked a few things out, the size of my scans varying between 1.8MB and 122MB. They have needed no post processing much at all after importing into Lightroom. The Venice shot I darkened at scanning to match the original. I had heard of people selling their M9s and returning to film. I can believe it.
These are from December 1983. Leica M2, 50 Summilux version 2 on Kodachrome. I never noticed the seagull till just now.
