Kodachrome vignetting

Just curious about this...my wide shots on K64 often display significant vignetting--almost as much as R-D1 photos do. The same lenses barely vignette at all on Tri-X.

I guess it's kind of a moot point, since I sent out my last roll ever last week 🙂(), but I'm curious what's going on here chemically, or physics-wise, that creates this phenomenon.

i noticed the same.
I guess the contrast of K64 is very high and a small underexposure in the corners will make it look a lot darker than tri-x or color negative.
