If only Fuji could afford a single marketing person with Bellamy abilities... HUGE multiplication effect!

I must have some serious comprehension issues because when I read the above linked article I saw him say its bad news they are discontinuing several more types of film, and he suggested we should stock up now.
That was my read as well. And since Fuji doesn't even sell a 400 B&W film, he isn't hurting their sales at all.
While in the darkroom this morning it occurred to me that the rebranding could be helping Ilford and whoever else is able to coat films more than it is hurting them. If there are more companies wanting films under their name then they are likely coating maybe a little more at least.

All Fujifilm films are flawless and of outstanding quality. E6, C41 and BW.
Totally agree regarding chrome films, but nobody has anything that even remotely compares with Portra (which incorporates Kodak's Vision technology).
I was for years a big fan of Superia 800, but Portra 400 shot at 800 has just as much if not more shadow detail and much better grain and color.

I picked Fuji 400H over Kodak Portra every single time.

I prefer the tennis ball. The others aren't nearly as fuzzy.
