I have several rolls of expired Ektar which I want to expose and develop in D-76. Some I want to expose at box speed and others at 400asa. Using D-76 what would be a good starting time to develop at 68 degrees for 100asa and 400asa??

I have no experience doing it, but I have read of it - here is a link with some samples and general tips.

I want to try developing some old Kodachrome in B&W chemistry - but I guess the remote will be a royal pain.

good luck

I'd go 7 minutes. By the way, you'll be trying to print through an orange mask. Orange = very close to safelight color.
