Kodak hypo clearing shelf life... DOH!

Hi all

I was used to Tetenal lavaquick with no shelf life limit that I can remember.
I just bought a (big for me) quantity of kodak hypo clearing agent wich indicates a shelf life of three months for the concentrated solution and 24 hrs for the final solution 😱😱😱

Any clues why such a difference?
