Hello everyone,

I found 6 rolls of Kodak Ultra 400 (35mm) dated 2002 and was hoping
I could find some example pictures or experiences with the film from this forum.

From my little research there is not much info on it bar a few pictures of 4 packs or the same film in 110 (16mm) format. Maybe it is a precursor to Ultra-Max but that is only a guess and so someone here might have the right answer!

It has spent most of its life in the fridge so should be okay for shooting.

The following is a link to one of the package images in case anyone recognizes it:

Thank you

I had a roll of it. From the results I got, it's a budget consumer film. I'll look to see if I have any scans from that roll.

The first shot is straight from the lab scan, the second version is with a little tweaking in post. It's not a bad film for the price, but there's films I like better (they cost a lot more too).

I like it! I'd be happy to use it. Enjoy it waveey! (I personally think people put far too much stock into what type of colour neg film they are using 99% of the time, especially seeing almost all of us to some post processing on it).

Hope it works, ill be using it at a wedding along with some other new film in the possible case that this one complete buggers up! Its only my cousin and it is purely from a hobbyist stance but it would still be nice to get some cool pictures/effects so ill post back here with results in case anyone else finds stocks of this film.

It should have some latitude. One stop per decade of age past expiration is kind of the standard. I used to shoot it before the Ultra-Max came out, but I don't think any of it was ever scanned.
