I recently bought a Kodak Vollenda 620 6x9 with a Compur shutter and a Kodak Anastigmat lens f4.5 10.5cm. Shutter spot on and lens clean and clear.
Rolled off some 120 onto 620 spools and shot my first roll. The negatives show lots of fine detail and are sharp but not as sharp as my Voigtlander Bessa II w/Color Skopar.
I have heard a great deal about the quality of the Kodak/Nagel cameras and was expecting them to be equal in sharpness at least.
Am I expecting too much from the Vollenda? Is their reputation based on the solid construction and not the optics?
Has anyone had any experience with the Vollenda 620?
Cheers
Peter
