Hi all,
I know it's a beautiful lens.
In fact I've got 2 and want to sell one.
The one I am selling is completely mint.
I just need advices on the price I could sell it for?
Many thanks

I bid and won a near mint M-Hexanon 50 on ebay about a month ago. Got it for $300 but I think that was an abberation as there was another a day behind that went for like $450. Just glad I got mine like I did. I was the only one to bid on it!

btw...I see you have the 35 version as well. How do you like it? Does it pretty-well match the 50 as far as tonality, sharpness, contrast, etc.?

hang on!

hang on!

I'd suggest you hang on to the lens if funds aren't needed right away.

So far, I have not seen ANY post on RFF that bashes the M-Hexanons. My guess: they'll get more expensive in a year or so, especially the mint ones!

My purchases were:

28mm EUR 300 (REALLY lucky, goes for 450 tot 550 occasionally)
50mm EUR 300 (decent, has fetched more here and there, one went for only 179 recently)
90mm EUR 350 (but has been known to get as high as EUR 533 recently)

My 2 cents: these lenses can compete with their Leica siblings, and in build quality even win the contest

Thanks for your replies.
2tcreative, yes I really love the m-hex 35mm, It is really comparable to the 50mm.
I have also tried the 35mm summicron and can't really see the difference. I would not sell this lens as it works perfectly on my Hexar RF and M6.

CLE+Rf, I don't really need the money right now but just feel stupid to have one of those when it is not used at all. I can't see how they could get more expensive...

They will get more expensive, as they are cheaper than the Leica glass, but no longer in production. So, as long as you have one to sell in pristine / mint condition, anyone aiming for a Leica lens is interested as long as your price is less than the new Leica glass price!
