It's a SLR.
It's a half-frame.
Either way, it's a sweet camera to own.

I've had mine for about a week now and it's been a joy to shoot with. My OM-1 is definitely getting jealous, but there's no other camera like this. It's getting to be addictive. I haven't taken off the half-frame setting since I've head it.

great shots! konica is almost always overlooked/underappreciated by the cogniscenti.): i have a small set and find them the best IQ/price value out there. what lens(es) are you using here?

These were all shot with the 52/1.8 that came with the camera. I just picked up a 40/1.8 that was mounted to a FS-1. The camera/lens combo was way cheaper than the lens alone (I love eBay for that).
 
Some really good diptychs there... nice! Being a bit of a half frame nut, I should really add one of these to my collection.
 
maxwell you should try the 57/1.4, sharp as hell! the 24/2.8 is great, but a little more expensive. the 28/3.5 is cheap and very good. the 85 is much sought after and so expensive. i didnt like mine and didnt think it was worth the money, but maybe i had a bad copy. i find the much cheaper 100/2.8 much more to my liking. kiron also makes a great 28/2.0 for AR mount that usually goes pretty cheaply if you like a faster WA.

I got my 40/1.8 on an FS-1 as well. (It was actually better than "cheap" since an RFF member gave it to me as a gift. ;) )

I went ahead and bought a T-4 as a non-electronic body to go with it. I love that lens, and have thought of getting other Autoreflex bodies and Hexanon lenses. The only complaints I have about the T-4 are the viewfinder, the meter display and the shutter noise. Konicas are significantly louder than OMs. Shutter speed priority isn't my preference, but I can work with it.
 
I was recently given an Autorex (Japanese market). Haven't elected half-frame yet, b/c I already have a PEN FT. But I love some of the results with the 57/1.4 that was included, so I got a 40/1.8. Below are 2 with the 57 straight out of the camera, then 1 with the 40. They're mostly wide open:








More PP in the following image. I'm working on a series where human figures are blacked out or turned into light/silvery beings while the rest of the subject remains 'documentary.'
