Indeed! Well, somewhere on the Cameraleather site I think they recommend the brighter colors for fixed-lens rangefinders (and the slate and gray and duller brown for the severe dignity of an M3). 🙄

Right now 'm doing a slow burn about Cameraleather.com. He's long overdue on two coverings and won't reply to my emails about when I might see them. NOT good customer service!

Update--just got an email explaining the delay. He's been involved w/ family matters out of state and will ship soon.

Those are some very impressive shots, ndnbrunei and Michael. I've only run a couple of color rolls through mine so far, and I've not done any close-up or interior shots yet, but I agree the lens is very sharp.

I'm amazed at both the color and the sharpness in your shots, by the way! The strong russet tones in the landscape are very nice.

Now that ndnbrunei's got me thinking about filters, I'm wondering if I could rig up a homebrew contraption linking a polarizer over the lens with a little one over the viewfinder. I know there have been a few things like that marketed but I think they've all been very expensive. Hmmm....
