Konica Auto S3 - Auto-up CA?

The "official" close-up focus accessory for the S3 seems to be the "Auto-up 3", which, according to its manual, is both for the S3 and the C35FD.

The "Auto-up CA" is the close-up focus accessory for the C35 (not FD), according to its manual.

The Auto-up 3 and the Auto-up CA looks exactly the same in pictures, so I'm wondering whether the CA would work on the S3.

Any idea?

C35 has 46mm filter size, C35FD has 49mm, that's probably the difference.
