Konica C35 - Any stories?

Shadowfox, don't jump me if this doesn't work, here is my first RFF photo post. I really didn't think it would be from my Konica C-35 (my first photo post). It was taken in 1971 very close to the jungles edge in a very beautiful part of South America.

Wow! 1971... isn't that the year that this camera is first released?
I was born that year, so I don't recall anything :)

I like the picture, lots of detail and contrast. I know the little Hexanon lens is something, but this picture really accentuate it.

That's it, I'm going to load a b+w roll through mine :) I've just received a fresh shipment of expired Ilford XP2 from eBoy ...

Shadowfox, that was the year it came out, at least I had never seen one before that. But I did buy it in Panama', so maybe it was out in the US before. I used to take slides with the C-35 because all you did was focus and they came out right on.
