Konica Dual 21-35mm

A few more from the Hex Dual 21-35 from shooting in the night.
A friend had a slightly shocked facial expression, that I do use the slow f3.4 Hex in the night - well, I would love, to borrow his 21 Lux for a while, but then again, better not touch the 21 Summilux and enjoy the Hex ;-)

You are getting fantastic results with this lens. Do you find that you use the 21mm setting more that 35mm?
It seems the perfect lens for the M9. Too bad there are not more of them made.

Thanks a lot Andy ;-)
To be honest, I almost exclusively used it so far @ 21mm.

This focal length is entirely new to me, thats why I am so curious about using it in different settings - I love it so far!
The lens indeed lived for the first days on the M9.
I have now a rough idea on how it behaves and continue at the moment, to get my grips on using the 75 Summilux on either M8.2 and M9, to train my skills with it.
I plan, to have these two lenses as a basic kit on two bodies in certain settings and want myself, to perform up to them (the 75 is not an easy beast, but nothing is impossible).

Today was the first time, I used the Hex Dual 21-35 on the M8.2, doing some drive by shots.
As the initiated know, the M8 sensor is quite different to the later M9 sensor in that it draws a different grain and detail, making pictures look very different, once printed or seen on a biiiiiig screen.

The combination of M8 sensor and Hexanon Dual 21-35 shines !!!
I can now fully understand Dante Stella's high praise in his article about this sweet lens.
I love how he starts the article with the question: "Can you design a lens out of spite?"

Thanks Dante, your article was a major deciding factor for me getting over the cliff, to buy this lens, when I still was not so sure! I am happy, I did!
