I recently recieved a Konica Hexar Silver from a friend of mine. He once used it to test out an aparatus for testing shutter speeds on cameras, which of course resulted in a hole in the shutter etc. (the bright focused light burned a hole and melted parts of the diaphragm.)
The camera needs a new shutter and diaphragm, but I believe what the repairman actually do, is to replace the hole shutter as one piece.
Luckily, I got this camera for free as it needs repairs, but I really love to have a working Hexar as I once owned one many years ago and have constantly regreted the sale of that one.
So far I've detected two issues that makes the repair complicated:
1. I'm a bit low on funds, and need to find a very good repairman which can do the job at an affordable price. (I live in Norway, so there's postage expences as well)
2. The repairman actually needs to have the proper spare parts!
The spare part issue might be a problem, but I'm sure that someone must have the part out there. This is the reason for this post:
Please, I need YOUR help to find a good, affordable, repairman with the proper spare parts for a Konica Hexar!
Thanks!
