I just got a Konica I rangefinder in exc condition (made in occupied japan, so it is the early one with the 3.5 hexar)

my question is what to do about a filter. looks like it is a 32 or 33mm for a slip-on but there is a thread close to the glass for something that is very small and probably unobtainable. so, anyone know what series # will do as a push on?

Not sure, But I bet it is the same size filter used for the Leitz Elmar 5cm F3.5, Argus C3, and Industar 22. I think the size is 19mm for the screw in filter. I got lucky and got a nice filter marked for the C3 in a "grab-Bag" and found it fit my Leica lens and the Russian copy.
 
thanks, that is exactly right! Doh! after bidding on a 19mm series V adapter on eBay i rummaged around in my bag of tricks and found i already had one. oh well...i can use it on my industar.
