Hello,

I ask humbly as this is my first Rangefinder. It just arrived today. I'm thrilled. It was purchased on ebay but is brand new, never used and arrived mint as described. In putting it together (trying each of the 3 lenses: 28, 35, 90) I've noticed that when focusing, the images don't line up perfectly. They almost get there but it appears to be a little off/slanted, appearing as if the vertical "line-up" is pretty good but there is a slight problem with the horizontal lining up (geometrically that sounds impossible but I imagine 'you' know what I'm talking about. Not sure if this is the parallax concept coming into play or that my new camera needs some adjustment. And if the latter, what is it that needs adjusting?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hexar RFs are really fussy about eye placement while looking through the viewfinder. It drives me crazy, but I like everything else about the camera so much I put up with it. Try looking through the viewfinder with your eye a little higher than you think it should be. Most likely it is not a problem with the camera but with the user. Happens to me all the time but I just use the vertical alignment to check focus. My shots come out in focus just fine.

as you were writing this i think i was discovering exactly what you were saying. I'm pretty sure it was me and not the camera. thanks.
