Koniflex journal

Like that one pretty much. Makes me recommend this terrific movie to Angélique and you, if, by chance, you haven't seen it yet :

I'm getting what you mean re. the photographers not wanting to be the average tourists, although being tourists nonetheless.

This might be the main source of a dilemma of some sort we always have to face when traveling (and preparing ourselves for travel).

Thus, sometimes (if not most of the times), taking one camera only (even with a fixed lens) and a large bunch of film works super. In any case, it works better than taking too much gear and not film enough.

When I went to Barcelona I took my Rollei 35 and lots of B&W film in my jacket pockets, and nothing else. And I had no regrets about some gear I had left at home once arrived on location. There is a trip to Amsterdam scheduled on next February ; I will probably buy myself the same policy...

Thanks a lot for your message. I didn't know the film.
I totally agree with the "traveling light" choice.
Trip to Lisbon : Konica SII, Koniflex. Fixed lenses, one sort of film in each camera. 😉

Thanks for this thread - I shall follow you on Instagram

I was lucky enough to find a nice Koniflex earlier this year to add to my TLR collection. I shall do a review of it sometime soon on my Rangefinder Chronicles site - but I have already viewed the negatives. I have to say it has become one of my favourite of my TLR cameras. Great lens, nice and different focal length, and I love the ability to do double exposures with it too.

Thank you for your message. You are right about the Koniflex. 😉
