My favorite Uncle was an Artillery officer in Korea. He passed this year, and my very kind cousin found his old Canon rangefinder lenses. He's sending them to me. He said the camera itself disappeared. I'm excited to see what they are, he sent this picture only, no info. Any ideas what they are? The hood kind of looks like it's for a 50/1.2, but I can't be sure.

Looks like a 135/3.5 in the back next to the 50/1.2 along with its hood.

Might be an Aux. Finder in there somewhere for the 135.

A great way to remember a family member! It doesn't hurt that it's really cool stuff 🙂

He was a very nice, calm and quiet outdoorsman, who worked in the forest industry his entire life. We camped with them every year growing up on Memorial Day, Labor Day and 2 weeks every summer.

Looks like a lot of hoods, and a Canon Flashgun.

The 50mm F1.2 Hoods can go for quite a bit.

Looks like a lot of really good stuff.

Thanks all. Good point about the black lens era. He must have continued buying after he was in japan. I'll see if any have the EP mark on them.

That is indeed the original hood for the 50/1.2, which is quite rare and as Nokton48 said, can fetch a nice sum. It is a clamp-on hood.

I got the package. Canon 50/1.2 with hood, case for hood, and UV filter, 135/3.5 with hood (fits my 50/1.4 too) finder, case, UV filter. Bel-view hood for 40mm filter ring lenses. A Canon flash unit. Sadly, there was also an empty Leica bubble plastic case. My cousin said that and the camera disappeared a few years ago. I'm happy, it was all free, and I can remember my Uncle Jim, a kind, mellow man who worked in the timber industry, who we camped with at least 4 weeks of each year growing up.
