L + 15

I didn't expect it to happen this year but I'm finally gonna have an L + CV 15/4.5!

I found the advert in the Dutch magazine Camera Magazine, a mag where Erwin Puts has a column. I called the seller (a shop, not a private person) and asked whether he still had it available. He told me that, by shere luck, he still had it. The set had been sold but because the buyer had transferred the money to the "wrong" shop (the shop of the seller's son, who happened to have an L + 15 as well and sent it to the customer) the seller still had his L + 15 available for sale.

So, I bought it. It was only 269 euro, compared with some 355 euro for a new set from CameraQuest. Now I'll have 2 Bessa L's, one with the CV 25/4, the other with the CV 15/4.5. Great! 🙂

The Bessa L with the 25/4 & 15/4.5 makes an excellent two-lens travel kit but changing the finders is a PITA. Of course, with two bodies you will not have this problem! 😀

If Cosina ever produces a 15-21-25 multi-finder I will be the first one to buy it.

Enjoy your new lens; it's so much fun to use.

Yeah, cool travel kit! 😛 An L + CV 25/4, an L + CV 15/4.5, an R-D1 with Zeiss 50/2, and a ZI with... HEY, I don't have a lens for the ZI!

I'm not much of a 35'er myself, really.

I forgot, BTW, that I also have a CL + 40/2. Dang! That's 4 film cameras! Anyone wanna swap these bodies for an R-D1? 😛 Just kidding, of course, but this isn't quite what I had expected.

The CL is one that's not gonna be for sale for a looooong time. 🙂 I find it a more than useful backup and travel camera. It's better than a P&S but still nearly as small.
