Lagos Photo 2011

I have the great pleasure of being invited by The African Artists Association to show my work at Lagos Photo 2011. I realize that it's a bit of the map fo most but if you are in the hood...

It starts October 8th and I will be teaching? a workshop that week.

If a trip to Africa is out of the question I lecture at The University of Western Ontario on the 6th of October with images to accompany.

And if that isn't in the cards well you will have to pick up Canada's current Photolife magazine and check out my mention in 'Canada's top emerging talent' article. Sadly only 1 small photo🙁

Simon, i just might be able to swing that! I arrive in Dortmund from Zagreb on the 27 and leave from Hamburg the 29th. A day in Berlin could be arranged. I am working tomorrow in Srebrenica but when I get back to Sarajevo I will confirm with you.

Whenever I hear Lagos I think of something like the most dangerous city in the world without war. Isn't that true?

Sadly, yes. Bit of a dicey place. Lots of good people working very hard to change that though.
