You did some stuff with the X100 that would not have been possible (not exactly this way, in any case) with a Leica M - I am thinking of the closeup picture (reflection in sunglasses).
I have made my peace with the 0.7m limit of Leica M2 and Summaron, but there is no denying that you miss some pictures... :)

Now, in effect isn't the point of focus (the legs) maybe a meter away? I've done some shots like that with my M3.
Great set of pictures, Simon! Are they all X100?
 
I actually thought the same thing when I decided to take the shot, but the glasses aren't flat so the focus point is indeed somewhere in between 12 and 25cm and the reflection is also somewhat distorted.
