hi

i just recive a paterson multi reels 8 last week

i try to collect films for 8 rolls then now i ready for develop them soon.

i concern about correct time for develop 8 rolls of film together, i never develop flim more 2 rolls a time before.

is developing time difference from small tank? and how you control temperature with large tank? how agiation? and a chemical mixing different from small tank?

i use kodak tri-x 400 and use ei400 all of them, i use kodak tmax developer at 1+9 ratio, how about ideal time for develop them?

thanks for your comment.

As long as you start and stop the developing time consistently (eg, from when you start pouring in the developer to when you start pouring in the stop, or from the end of pouring in the dev to the end of pouring in the stop), the time doesn't need any adjustment.

and how you control temperature with large tank?
I do it just the same as with a small tank - I just mix the chemicals with water at the right temperature. If your location is especially hot or especially cold, you could possibly use a water bath - a large sink filled with water at the appropriate temperature - and stand the tank in that.
