Last Camera Standing

Wow! That's a hard one. It would help if I only had one arm, then I couldn't say "on the other hand". But seriously, I think it would my 25 year old OM-1md and a few lenses. Don't even ask me to choose one lens. Ain't happening.
 
Right now if I could just keep one it would be my M2. I've had it for 42 years and CLA'd by Youxin recently and it would have to stay.

That happened to me last September. I had my OM-1n and it's 50mm f/3.5 out with me at the time my house was burglarized. It made a good only camera to be sure!

However if I were to do a voluntary give-away today, I'd keep the Lytro, cause that's all I'm shooting with these days.
 
I would mount them all together and create one mega-camera thus not having to part with any of them yet retain only one. Show a few external gears and I can call it steampunk.
 
Although I moved on to autofocus years ago, I'd revert back to my Canon A-1 and all it's lenses from 16mm fisheye to 600mm mirror. I think versatility is the criteria for me.
 
Rolleiflex 3.5e, or if multiple lenses can be included: Hasselblad 500cm. Sorry, M2!

But if I could keep 3, these would be those.
 
I'm not surprised to find the Leica M being so admired by many here, but didn't expect to find the Rolleiflex to be quite so popular. I'm at home either way.
 
Wow, that would definitely be a tough decision to make, as I own so many fine old cameras. But I think my answer will surprise some of you... or possibly make a few of you wish to have me institutionalized, but I think I would have to choose my lovely old FED 2(D6). There. I said it. I just LOVE everything about this half-century old Soviet rangefinder; it even looks beautiful! (and if a shady character ever came after me in a dark alley; it makes for a fine weapon!) Oh, did I mention it takes great photos?

Funny enough, I just thought about this recently. Here's what I have:

- M8
- E-P1
- Panasonic G1
- Fuji F200EXR
- Pentax ME
- Yashica Electro 35
- Contax T

My favourite is the M8, no debate. But the most realistic scenario forcing me to part with all but one would be that I need the money. In that case, I'd probably keep either the E-P1 + 20/1.7, or the Contax T. Both are super compact and super great performers. Between the two, my heart is more with the Contax, but I'm not sure I'd want to give up the convenience of digital plus the video capability. Tough choice ...
 
My 1930 Leica.3 (a converted 1). Lenses, now that's a problem. Probably the Jupiter.12, but only after fighting to the last breath to hang on to the Orion.15 & Summar.

Nikon F6

I long swore the Mamiya 6 is the one camera I'd always keep. Sold it earlier this year. In the end I just find 35mm slr is the system for me and the Nikon F6 is supreme.

More considered reaction (based on earning a living): M9

Still more considered reaction: Why do people repeatedly torture themselves with this essentially meaningless question? How likely is it to happen? In some post-apocalypse world where I have to coat my own materials, I'd probably go for my Gandolfi 12x15 with reducing backs down to whole-plate. Barring an apocalypse, how likely is it that any of us will ever face this question? Even poverty doesn't really force the question. If I had to sell everything in order to eat, I'd not have enough money for photography.

Rolleiflex 2.8E3. If the Kowa Super 66 had been a tad smaller and lighter it would have won. But since it isn't, the Leica M4-2 comes in second.
