"50 Portraits: Stories and Techniques from a Photographer's Photographer" - Geg Heisler. I like his text as well

Latest additions to my shelf and digital libraries:

Naked City II: A Photo Portrait of NYC by Nick Migliore for Kindle

My used bookstore* had a copy of Mapplethorpe by Patricia Morrisroe. I bought it and intend to read it, because Morrisroe is said to palpably hate the photographer while simultaneously loving his work. Cool. I love to see mental anguish translated through writing.

Just got a copy of Minutes to Midnight-got a copy from a book store in France- i played detective to find one but it was worth it, about $55. USD with shipping- about 4 weeks from order to delivery. Steidel, the publisher did an extraordinary job on the printing, you can smell the ink when you open the book. The images are really well done if you admire Parke.
