My used bookstore* had a copy of Mapplethorpe by Patricia Morrisroe. I bought it and intend to read it, because Morrisroe is said to palpably hate the photographer while simultaneously loving his work. Cool. I love to see mental anguish translated through writing.

Steidel, the publisher did an extraordinary job on the printing, you can smell the ink when you open the book. The images are really well done if you admire Parke.
