My copy of The Decisive Moment arrived on Christmas Eve but I only got a chance to look at it yesterday. It's a privilege to have a copy of that book.
Anywhere else have the decisive moment in stock?
I just received my copy of The Decisive Moment from The Book Depository, based in London. I ordered on 12/17, it was shipped on 12/22, and received the book on 12/31.
They show the book as still available, though for slightly more than I paid. http://www.bookdepository.com/Henri-Cartier-Bresson-Henri-Cartier-Bresson/9783869307886
In fact, I just sent them an email, as they messed up the order somehow and instead of sending my one book, they sent me 1 box of books. So, I have 5 copies of Steidl reprint of The Decisive Moment...until I hear back from them on whether or not they want to send me a shipping label to send the other 4 books back.
Michael Ackerman : Half Life.
Sune Jonsson: Life and Work. This is a beautiful monograph of the photographer's work in rural Sweden during the 1950s-1970s. There are a number of parallels with the better known (at least to me) UK photographer James Ravilious who also sensitively documented a rural community over many years.
A Vanessa Winship monograph published to coincide with a recent Spanish retrospective. This is a well printed book that covers (in decent depth) her career to date and shows a photographer pretty much at the top of her game. The book is almost worth it alone for a tiny handful of landscapes which I hadn't seen before taken in Winship's native Humberside.
