latest upgrade for x100?

According to the info on the updates. It is suppose to be 20% faster af...

Doing my update now. .. Done. Dammmm.. I hate that they reset all the config settings again.

just loaded mine up too. AF does seem a bit more confident in low light. Manual focus is now completely usable. It doesn't take forever to focus from min to infinity - they definitely adjusted the sensitivity of the MF wheel. That adjustment plus focus peaking makes MF a completely different experience.

Faster and mf experience is much better..

As a first year owner... I am really pleased w/ how well Fuji has supported this camera. Not only giving us bug fixes, but new features such as the focus peaking.

NOOO! Just when I decided to leave my x100 home, I've had it in my bag all week but decided to go with just my Mju2 today.

I know what I'll be shooting tomorrow.
 
Just upgraded mine. The AF does seem faster, and the MF is more responsive. I'm pretty happy with this so far. Ready to take it out now!
 
Hmmm.... time to scour Craigslist for a "new" X100 :D

I must say, Fuji has really done well from their customer service side of the house. They are constantly doing updates/fixes AND listening to their clients.

I just may go back to them in the future! :)

I updated this morning and am impressed so far. Focus peaking and the shorter focus throw are a huge improvement, even though I tend to use the AE-L for snap focusing. AF does appear faster but also it seems to hunt less though perhaps this was an issue with my body that has been "fixed" with this update. Either way I'm happy with the update and very happy with Fuji generally.

I wish Nikon were taking note.
 
Gotta' love Fuji and their support. Very pleased with the update and the faster focus. The peaking does not mean much to me on this camera, but I am curious not owning any other "X" cameras: Is the peaking implementation the same across the board for the X bodies? (i.e.) If I bought into an XE, does it function the same as my updated X100?
